Starting to use a new app can be overwhelming – signing up, figuring out how to see what you want, getting in touch with people. It’s a lot to take in!
At The PRSNLS, we’ve worked hard to make your experience on our app as simple as possible – you can download the app, open it up and be guided through each step. In less than five minutes, you’re ready to chat with someone who wants what you’ve got!
Just in case, though, we’ve put together this handy walk-through so you can see just how simple The PRSNLS is to use.
Step one: Download the app
Of course, this is the easiest part. Search The PRSNLS in the app store (sorry, Android users – you’ll have access soon!) and download. A free app, you don’t have to worry about being charged for downloading.
Step two: View the tutorial
The PRSNLS was designed to take you through a quick tutorial before you even begin, so you can understand our filtering and messaging features.
Step three: Sign up
While you can view posts without signing up, to share your own or message someone you have to sign up. The good news is, you don’t have to connect any social media – you don’t even have to use your real email address! However, using a real address will help you recover your password if needed. Signing up takes about 30 seconds, and then you’re off to the races.
Step four: Filter
Not everyone is into everything – and that’s okay. You can filter posts who you’re looking for (men, women, non-binary, everyone) what you’re interested in (hookups, casual dating, chatting) and even tags (FWB, BDSM, threesomes) to better find what you want. You can also filter by location, handy if you’re looking for an IRL hookup in the future!
Step five: Post or reply
Now the ball is in your court. If someone has already posted your dream fantasy, message them and see where it goes! If you don’t find what you want, create your own post and see who is out there. You have control over how much you share in your post or your messages. The only thing The PRSNLS demands of you is respectful, consensual conversations and photo sharing.
Step six: send a photo
We have integrated snap and burn technology into photo sharing within the app – meaning a photo you send in a message is visible for 8 seconds and then disappears into the ether. This is a great way to stay a little mysterious and protect yourself against any untoward behaviours like blackmailing or nude sharing. Until you confirm the person you’re chatting with is someone you can truly trust, we highly suggest sticking to messaging on our platform for your safety.
Step seven: Get your freak on (whatever that looks like)
Get freaky with it! Keep messaging, meet up (safely), or end the conversation if you’re not feeling it and move on. The PRSNLS is all about wanting what you want – no shame, no expectations, no pressure.
Last but not least, we do have a report function should you need it. Abusive or harmful messages and posts can – and should – be reported. The PRSNLS also does not tolerate any homophobia, transphobia, racism or any other discrimination.
